So What Got You Interested In Betta Fish?

The title asked it for me. (:
So how did U get interested? For me it was when I was really addicted to Bloo (R.I.P). He was in a 3 or 4 gallon and was VERY happy. After that, I was Betta Fishless for about 2 years and then, for my B-day, I got Lucky. It has grown from there! So how about you?

I got my betta fish bubba and I loved him dearly :] He was about 4 years old when he passed away :[ After that I refused to get another fish I was so heart broken but then I found my Old betta Shadow and he won my heart :] I have loved betta ever since!

I saw a beautiful fish at a pet store and thought it would be a good pet. Aurora Sky is happy!

i was searching for something on google (it started with an s) and the suggestion box said "siamese fighting fish" and i clicked on it. i had no idea what it was and was curious. i saw that it was bettas ,and was intrigued and researched like crazy. then i asked my mom and it was a yes.then all i was saying was.......

My dad is actually a fish person himself (though he got out of it because he had to take care of me, hehe). I have learned all of the basic fish care from him. Though when I was seven he had a little community tank. I was intrigued and I helped him maintain the aquarium for a while. I finally asked him if I could get a fish of my own, and he said yes. We went to the store and bought a two gallon bowl, heater, etc and came back with a betta fish.

Who knew that six years later I would still take care of bettas!
