I have that exact same critter keeper, looks pretty good.
I would get a glass internal thermometer too with your heater, so you know if it's working or not, the outside ones don't work so great.
On a critter keeper that size 100% water changes every three days, also if your not already, be sure to use a water conditioner to take the chlorine out of your tap water, and when doing water changes make sure the water is the same temperature (use that thermometer)
I put my water in gallon jugs and age it for a day, then submerse the gallon jugs in hot water in the sink until they reach the correct temp.
