Mystery snail eggs

It appears I have mystery snail eggs in my tank. Any advice or information?

Did you recently buy a live plant? They often have carry snails.

If you are sure they are mystery snail eggs then you can leave them in the tank. Are the eggs above waterline? if so then you can either leave them there, or CAREFULLY take them out and float them in a moist tub, the tub shouldnt have water otherwise the eggs will drown. :) Do you have pics?

The eggs are above the water line. I think I will leave them there and hope for the best. I'm not sure what I will do with all the snails if even half the eggs produce. I will post a picture when I figure out how.

Hopefully the eggs on the outside of the cluster do not dry out.

You could give them to MEEEEEEEEE. =D

Just sayin. ;]

Srsly though the LFS/LPS would be the best place to go to sell them/give them away. But if they're purple seriously give them to me. I'll pay shipping! :D

The outside of the cluster did look a little dry today when I did a water change. Its also up near the light but I hate to keep the light off for the next 2 or 3 weeks until they hatch. My daughter thinks I should abort the eggs so I don't run the risk of being over run with babies. I can't bring myself to do that.

The snail that laid the eggs is blue. For a short period of time she was with a gold mystery snail. I don't know if she was pregnant when I got her or if there was some hanky-panky with the gold snail. The internet said mystery snail need a mate to reproduce. I doubt the off-spring will be purple but I will let wallywestisthebest333 know if they are.

If they are dry you could lightly spray them with water to keep them moist :)
