Quarantine? Harlequin Rasboras?

how long should I quarantine my harlequin rasboras?

Apart from abnormal behavior and white stuff on them, what should I look for that would be a sign of parasites?

I have 6, could I release them all at once into my cycled tank when they're quarantine is over?

Also, I've heard from some sources that they are omnivores, and others that they are carnivores, which are they?

I'd really like to know what the rasboras eat, right now they're eating my betta's food, and any little planeria they find.
