Thanks guys. He's buried next to Mr. Pink and my childhood kitty Mr. Peach. I had to make myself look at him and I could find no sign of what could have killed him. My best guess is that spawning took more out of him than he let on and since I did not continue to condition him but went back to normal feeding he just never got back to prime condition. He never let it show and I only saw 3-5 ich spots on him at any one time.

I have my GABBA meeting tomorrow and I'm going to ask the other breeders what they think. After that I'm going to bleach everything that Sid touched. Eros has really bad fin rot so I'm going to move him into the 5 gallon and try salt and partial water changes. I was trying full water changes but they stress him out so much and I don't want him dieing on me too.

I've decided I'm moving on. I got a gorgeous little female today from one of the people in my betta group. She's a great match for Rio so I'm starting to condition her right away for spawning. Rio also needs to be re-conditioned.

Hopefully some of Sid's fry will have what he had and I can get back what I lost, if not well then I'll just have to start searching for another. For now I'm just going to focus on the fry I do have and do one more spawn this summer.
