Weird - should Prime smell?

So I just bought a new bottle of Prime, went to check the fishes and noticed a smell. I had just changed the goldfish's water so I attributed it to that, but a quick inspection led me to a different source - it was the Prime I just bought less than a week ago. :/ It smelled vaguely the same as goldfish doo.

I'm pretty sure my other Prime didn't smell like that - I checked the liquid inside, I thought I saw little black things swimming around (TONS of them!) but when I poured it out, nothing. They vanished.

This is unsettling, I've been using the stuff on all my fish and frog tanks doing big water changes this week. :(

AArgh, and the rehab betta with popeye hasn't been improving... I'm having a rough life here. >:l

My prime smells. I guess I always thought it smelled like rotten eggs or like sulfur? I just opened it and yeah..... whooooo.... it stinks. It didn't have any black things in it though.

My Prime also has the sulfur smell. I don't mind it because all of Savannah smells that way (paper factory down river). The black stuff isn't harmful, its just sediment (wrong word I think). I usually shake my bottle up before pouring.

Also, don't stick your nose in the bottle. I'm so sick to my stomach right now. :/

Okay, good. I was about to be all angry customer and storm their site guns blazing.

I suppose the black things did go away once I mixed it up by pouring it out - super weird. I thought maybe I was hallucinating or something, haha! I was like woah, no more ... advil...? before cleaning fish tanks. :P

My Prime reeks too.
I am not sure why, but both times I have used it my bettas have gotten hole in their fins, I know I dosed them high (A "drop" from the cap per gallon, but a little more spilled...) but I have stopped using it because this has happened on two separate occasions with two different bettas. Any thoughts on this? I am using a different (and more expensive) conditioner.

Odd, I haven't seen anything like that happening with my bettas, perhaps the change stressed them and they tore their fins because of that?

Although I just switched the rehab betta to prime and he's just as perfect as ever fin-wise....

My Prime stinks too :/ I think it even says on the side of the bottle that a "sulphur" smell is normal.. :P

Well, it is a chemical, so I think the smell is normal. And 1fish 2fish, sediment is the right word.
