What are some fun things Redsnow can do?

Redsnow always seems so bored. Most of the time he's fighting the "other fish" (his reflection). But he always seems to be bored. Can I put something in for him to swim with or something like that? What other things can he do?

Do you have plants and maybe a hiding spot? If not get some, and if you do try changing them around often. These suggestions might help, but I've had two bettas that refuse to do anything else, they just loved to look at themselves.
