Update on Charlie.

So he seems to like his new hiding place, it's a plastic translucent, pink igloo. I think it's normally made for small criters.

I also got him ping pong balls, I put one in(after washing it with hot water of course), but he doesn't really seem interested in it at all :(

I'm going back to Petsmart today to return the light and to buy new food that was suggested to me.

Also, his tail is already healing! Yay for clean water!

That's wonderful! congrats! I can't remember from before... but did you add aquarium salt? That helps with the healing process and to keep infections away until healed.

Omega One is also a good food brand, as is Atison's (which is labeled under Ocean Nutrition, I think) in case you can't find those other at petsmart. I know Petco sells the New Life Spectrum, and i buy the small fish pellets because they have better ingredients and higher protein than their betta pellets.
