I said they are good.
Pellets are packed with the nutrition that your fish needs but they aren't the best. Ideally you would feed your fish an array of live foods like Fruit Flies, Blackworms, Daphnia, mosquito larvae, etc. After that frozen foods are great with pelleted foods coming in third.
That doesn't mean that you shouldn't feed pellets. Most of us don't have the time to thaw out and feed frozen 2x a day every day and a lot of people don't want to deal with culturing live foods. Pellets are made to make life easy while still getting the fish the nutrition it needs.
That being said you should always have a variety in your diet. My fish are fed a mixture of 3 different brands of pellets, freeze dried brine shrimp or blood worms, frozen brine shrimp, blood worms, or glass worms. I'm also planning on getting a wingless fruit fly culture so I can feed live as well.
