Bettas are not tiny!

I came across a site selling tiny betta bowls that were so small all it said was "4 1/2 inch bowl" It was sad. What was even saddder was the product descripition-"These bowls are great for bettas and other small fish like tetras!" There are so many problems with that.

1. Bettas are not small except compared to Oscars and cichlids,etc. And no one calls mollys or anything small!
2.Tetras couldn't survive in there either. They need a filter, a heater, and other tetras
3. The bowl is not great for anything except fake fish

It's sad how these are marketed. People begin to think they are okay!

I used to have a bowl with little glass fish but it is probably in storage or somewhere. It was really cool, when you filled it with a certain kind of water the fish would float. I loved it but I don't know where it is now.

I agree, Little Marlin! My betta is in a 1.5 gallon.
