1fish2fish Member Join Date: Sep 2009 Location: Savannah, GA 1fish2fish's Posts	I believe bettas can thrive off good pellets. I fed only pellets up until about 8months ago and my oldest fish lived over 4 years of age. As long as you try a pellet that has good nutrition he should thrive. Food is just a small aspect of thriving over surviving.
