My fry food cultures are doing really well so I'm sharing the wealth.
I have:
Microworms
Vinegar Eels
Walter Worms (smaller than microworms)
Bannana Worms (smaller than walter worms)
Any of these foods can be fed after fry hatch. I suggest the vinegar eels first because they stay in the water column longer whereas the worms tend to fall faster.
All of these are good foods and fairly easy to grow. Mine are fed with oatmeal and kept in a cupboard in my "fish room". They don't really smell at all and are very easy to feed.
Lets see.. prices
I'll do one regular sized sandwich bag full of VE for $5 plus shipping. A 1 oz culture is going for $3 on aquabid so this is a good deal. One sandwich bag is enough that you can start feedings right away and they will multiply quickly.
For the worms I'll do one ounce for $2. An ounce is two tablespoons. With this you can get a good culture growing in a week.
I'll have to look at shiping prices but it shouldn't be too much. I'll print out instructions on how to culture them and send it with your order, you can also find culturing instructions online.
I can only do about two orders per culture right now, but like I said they grow fast so I'll have more soon.
PM me if your interested.
