Algae Eater

Alright, I know this is a LONG shot but I am desperately in need of an algae eater. I have a 4G tank with a male betta but I really don't want to add one of my snails or shrimp because IMO they don't clean the algae. Could I possibly squeeze an oto in there?

I know, I know but I thought I would ask just in case lol

Thanks

I think an oto would grow too big for a 4 gal with a betta.
