Exclamation Help!Buddy got his fins ripped.

I came in my room to feed Buddy and the platies.Then a hungry little platy mistook Buddy's fin for a fish flake!Help what should I do!

I would start by placing Buddy in his own tank and start making 50-100% water changes daily, keep the water clean and this should help prevent a secondary infection. I would keep the water temp in the 76-78F area and look to keep Buddy by himself, sometimes it will not work keeping a long finned fish with other species and we need a back up plan just in case it doesn't work out.....

I'd probably do what oldfishlady said (she always knows best. :P) and start thinking about keeping buddy by himself. BAD PLATY!

Well the platy didn't get any food yesterday so I understand what happened if it happens again bye bye platy.
