Safe to water change with bubble nest?

My male Betta has a hefty bubble nest going on, it's there pretty much every day -- is it okay to do a 50% water change anyway and destroy it?

IMO/E - YES!!! He will most likely just rebuild it. Gives him something to do. :)

Sad to destroy it though, isn't it? Lol. I've been getting so many with my guys, even poor little traumatized Edmund (who's been doing better after his siphon accident; his tail is more beautiful than ever!)

I just get sparse bubbles here and there from my little fish, but he's been through a lot lately. Once I get his tank temperature stabilized and his silk plants I hope to see more nests from him. :)
