I sent an e-mail to a Canadian breeder 3 days ago regarding cost of a few females. I never heard back, so I went elsewhere. He told me not to contact him anymore and that he didn't appreciate my non-serious inquiry. I found him rather rude. My inquiry was serious...I'm just not patient and expected a reply sooner. Meh whatever, sounds like he would suck to deal with anyways. I'd rather give my money to someone else.

Dont let it get to you, some people are just jerks. I'm sure you can find more than one reputable breeder in Canada. I'll keep my eye out on AB!

Thanks, I know a lot of people here look down an pet stores but the pet store I go to is actually pretty good. I have only ever seen one sick fish there and ya it was a betta but they were doing everything they could for it. The girl I got from them was just a baby and she is doing very well with me. Ya I might not get a fancy variety but I'm happy as long as I get healthy fish, I'm not breeding anyways.
