Renquist's Fin

Sooo...with the re-homing of 2 of my boys today I switched Renquist into a 2 gallon bowl in my bedroom. Transisiton went fine, he was happily exploring his new digs when I went to drop off the other two earlier.

I checked on him just now and only one of his pectoral fins is functioning, the other is just stuck to his side. Nothing is holding it there, there are no signs of ripping but it's immobile. I have tried to take pics but he's a very dark boy and his pecs are clear which makes it nearly impossible to see.

There are some bubbles on his immobile fin...that's all I see.

I'm not sure what I can do for him except keep an eye on it. He doesn't seem stressed and he's still swimming at his normal pace.

I thought this would be a happy day for him, going back into my room where he started out.

Talk about Mr. Bounceback! He's fine this morning. There's still one bubble on his fin but his fin is functioning normal and WOW he is loving his new bowl. He puts on a show every time I'm near and does a fishy march. lol

Congratsies Big Boy, glad to have ya back. :P

My boy did that once and I thought I'd seriously hurt him; he used it for swimming to get his food and constantly after that; I wonder if they just get tired "arms" to to speak haha.
