My husband has been taking classes towards his certification as an assistant principal (he currently teaches Spanish). A job was just posted in the district I teach in for an assistant principal at the HS. He's going to apply, even though he hasn't completed all of the classes (he will be done at the end of the school year) but he'll have his temporary certification until then. If he gets this job, that means that he'll have a significant salary increase and the district will cover our insurance 100% (since we'd both be employed there)!!! And we'll be in a position to start having kids and/or adopting!! So, if you pray, PPPPPLEASE pray that he'll get this job, and if you don't pray, please think positive thoughts!! We could really use this to improve our meager salaries as teachers and move on with our lives (our state is ranked about 43 for teacher pay)!
