That's kind of like the difference between processed fish strips and a real fish fillet. I'd rather have real fish. The first ingredient in my pellets is salmon, followed by shrimp.

I use Hikari Betta Bio-Gold and my fishies love it, even my newest boy who was raised on flakes jumped at them immediately! (well, after examining them for a few seconds)
If you ever get the chance to get new pellets, a lot of members would probably recommend Hikari.

I'm sure he'll come around, just let him figure out what they are :)

I use these, we don't have a large variety to choose from here but these look great and they eat them.

I've been hearing good things from Hikari.

Right now the only pellets I have come from a brand called AQUA CULTURE. I'm sure he'll come around, We're (kinda) making progress, he only eats them when he is absolutly starved!!!
