Has anyone used Colonize to filter?

Hi all,
I'm looking for something to cycle my tank with, and I came across Colonize on Foster's. Has anyone used/recommended this? I'm trying to avoid using fish food as I was told it can create phospherus. Thanks for any help!

just use raw shrimp in a knee-high leggings. Got 8.0 ammonia readings only 2 days after putting it in.

Of those sort of products, I only trust Dr. Tim's One and Only and Tetra SafeStart. Too many of the others are total hogwash--I wouldn't waste my money on them. Also, 8ppm ammonia readings are really high for cycling a tank, and might actually slow down bacterial growth--if your tank reaches 8ppm you should try to get it down to around 4ppm, which is more optimal for bacterial growth.

I looked at Dr Tim's One and Only and it looks like it has really great reviews, so I'll go with that. Thanks for your help!
