Question Is it normal?

When I feed my betta it eats the food and starts pushing it's head back 3-8 times. Is this normal?

Good! Aqua doesn't do it as much as Aurora. But Aqua is older.

Are u feeding both of them the same food?

I only see my bettas do it when they are eating pellets.

Dead Sunlight doesn't do it much either, no worries.

Pellets and flakes (they hate flakes) Aurora is 3.5 months old so he is 1.5 months younger than Aqua!

My male does it a lot more than my female. I don't think it has anything to do with age. I've had him a week and my female is almost two.
