Arrow For the future...

What is a good betta medicine? Betta-fix, JMO, and aquarium salt?

It depends on what you're treating for. If you're referring to fin damage and open wounds, for minor injuries I would simply increase water changes. For more serious wounds, I would add pre-dissolved aquarium salt. If I had a reason to suspect the fish was weak and that there was an elevated risk of infection or parasite infestation I would use methylene blue. I would not use bettafix/melafix because of the complications surrounding using melaleuca on labyrinth breathing fish.

If I were you, I would just take out the plastic plants and replace them for Silk or something. Just in case. (:

I am getting live plants and the plastic isn't sharp or strong so lets hope!
