Got two new females.

Well, I went to the pet store to get some ick treatment. And I saw a tank full of female Bettas with Gouramis. One gourami had a swollen eye as did a female betta, not on of the ones I got. The two I got were small and had really bad torn fins. But I believe they are short bodied bettas. But I put them in separate bowls/tanks for now, but they are side by side. They will swim around a bit, but they stay in sight of each other. Any tips for these two? One is a blue-green color and the other is red with a bit of blue-green. I compared them to my current females and they do have a shorter body.

I suggest you give them a little aquarium salt to help with torn fins, and stress of it all.

I am giving them aquarium salt, now. They are pretty active.
