what kind of betta should i get?

should i get a veil tail or a crown tail?

i like veil tails because of their BEAUTIFUL flowing tail.
but i also like crown tails because their tails are really cool.

VT!! Ct are sensitive to water changes and their tail just melts! VTs are pretty and are perfect for starters. VT! VT! VT! VT! VT! VT! VT! VT!

My suggestion would be to just go to the store and see which one catches your eye. Going with a specific type in mind might keep you from really looking at another type which you might like even more.

Make sure that you have all you need to give your betta a good home before you go out and get one. Your new fish will need a container with a lid that is at least two gallons, a good adjustable heater, and dechlorinator to treat your tap water with.
