Freddie's going fast . . . .

He's pale, lethargic, barely breathing, did a waterchange yesterday for him and went to feed the fishies this morning and he was laying on the bottom just looking deathly. He's still lingering this morning but I might have to do the unthinkable ... and euthanize him. .. i did everything routine for hi waterchanges. I use prime and salt and black water extract and intro'd him slowly to aclimate. I don't want to disturb him in any way ... but god he look like he's on his last legs (fins?)

what are some good techniques? I dont have clove oils.

Do you know what's wrong with him? What are his symptoms? Size of tank, filter? live plants? heater?
Maybe its the temperature? :S

Temperature is at 80* (hydor mini brand heater), there is no filter but I do weekly waterchanges on 2.5g tanks. I have silk plants and a terra cotta cave in there. He was perfectly fine a few days ago, aside from a renewed interest in tail chomping.

How long have you had him?

You wouldn't happen to have picture of him right now?

He was an older betta when I got him, which was almost six months ago.

Freddie just passed away. I guess it was just his time.
