Garlic

My daughter had a hissy that we had to take him home. Can you tell I didn't name him?

Is he impressive? No, not really. Did I want him? Well, honestly? No. I was eyeing a gorgeous white one with red fins and little bitty white eyes. But the power of persuasion a 4 year old has is undeniable.

So here is my *ahem* HER new fish. Garlic...

He looks pretty darn ordinary to me.

It may just be the pics, he's too skittish for me to take any good ones with my crappy camera.

Awww - he's cute! Bettas don't have to be impressive to be great pets.

You should see the scraggly little guy I have now - but he's a sweetheart and like a little puppy dog. I wouldn't trade him for the fanciest show-betta in the world. :)
