stressing?

will stressing out your betta kill it? and what i mean, if you PURPOSELY stress it.
**NOTE**
i do not have a betta. i am just asking. i will get a betta.

When a fish is stressed it can affect the immune response, the stress itself usually will not kill the fish- but any little pathogen/parasite can attack due to the lowered immunity and the fish can get sick and/or die as a result.

Why are you purposely going to stress the Betta?
