Cool Creepy Crawlies

Gah, so I've ordered my starter cultures but have set up to have them delivered when I get closer to needing them. My provider is moving and I knew I didn't need them right away so I thought it would be nice for her not to have to worry about shipping them out just yet. She said to just let her know when I need them. I was reading over the instructions on how to grow and maintain them and I swear my skin was crawling the entire time I was reading from start to finish...gah, the things we go through for the love of bettas...*shudders*

Its actually not that bad. I have cultures of Vinegar eels, Microworms, Banana worms, and walter worms going and they're really easy and don't smell that bad at all. Plus they multiply really fast. After a month all mine are going really well and I'm actually trying to sell some off because I have way too much.

I was told you can stick them in the fridge to slow them down so that you don't get too much. Anything that crawls like bugs or nearly microscopic worms makes my skin crawl. I can handle nightcrawlers and regular earthworms and years ago when I had a african pigmy hedgehog as a kid I dealt with mealworms and crickets but tiny moving things.....*shivers and shudders some more*

Shinybetta.. do you have a paypal or something? All I need is $3 for the shipping and I'll send you a microworm culture for free, mine aren't selling and I want to get rid of some of them. If you want some others (banana worms, walter worms, vinegar eels) I'll give you a good deal on those as well.

Pix.. yeah you can put them in the fridge.. my problem is I know my mom won't let me and my roommate would kick me out if I tried LOL. Frozen worms are one thing but live is a no no with them.

Send me a PM with your info and I can give you my paypal. I might be able to get a little extra. My microworms are what I have the most of but I might be able to get some walter worms for ya too.

Get a mini fridge and put it in your room, that's what I did.
