I'm a new betta owner and I have found this website/forum to be overflowing with knowledge and information. Thank you so much for your contributions, it has made things a lot easier to set up. I owned a few bettas years ago when I was more ignorant of the requirements of owning them. Now, I believe I'm getting the hang of it and I have really learned to love these guys. I better be careful because I don't have the money to appease this appetite
This is Toby. He's a young CT full of personality. Favorite time of day is feeding time.
This is Sunkist. He's a DTHM according to Petco. He seems to have a spine deformity, he has a hard time swimming to his left; therefore he has a funky swimming motion. His fins stay open like this all the time, but when he displays it doesn't get much bigger.
Here's the 10 gallon divided aquarium they live in. I have baffled the filter and the heater doesn't allow it to get below 78 degrees (usually between 80 and 82 with the heat from the lights). Only fake plants so far, we'll see about some real ones soon.
