Tips of Betta are white and are bent...

Is this a sign of fin rot? I got him a few days ago and change his water everyday.

The tips of his front fins are white and bent at a right angle until the whiteness stops.

If he does have fin rot, will changing his water daily stop the fin rot?

It's not uncommon for fish to change color after you get them home from the pet store. White tips on the ventral fins is a very common color pattern--he may just be coloring up for you. Fish with fin rot will have a black or gray crusty/fuzzy texture on the outer edge of the fin--healthy growing fin comes in clear or whitish and colors up later.

What sort of tank do you have him in? Do you have a heater?
