Can females be kept in a community tank?

Anybody keep female bettas in a community tank with angels, sword tails, platys, etc.? If so, how does it work out?

Thanks!!!!

Dim problemau :) if your worried you could just add tall plants and some more hiding places, for the other fish cause we know how intimidating females can be haha

Haha, Welsh, very funny!!

Actually, I decided to keep things as they are. Everything is going so well in both my "Princess" tank and my community tank, I am going to just leave well enough alone. :)

Be very careful with the angels. They can be semi-aggressive and probably should not be housed with bettas. But, of course, it all depends on the betta and the angel.

Years ago I tried a male betta with some angels - didn't work out too well. While everything seemed ok at first, the poor betta didn't make it in the tank 24 hours.

I kind of thought, though, with the shorter fins on the females it might work. Like I said, however, I have decided against it & am going to leave things as they are.
