lol, all fish are little piggies.

I had an angelfish (smart fish, a lot of cichlids are IMO, but I might be biased lol) and when she saw me walk by her tank, she would follow me, and "beg" for food. It was hilarious.

i am having trouble with one of my females eating... it sems her mouth is too small she will carry a pellet around for 2 mins and then drop it... i have tried cutting the pellets in half but she seems to not want the cut ones... i am limited for food choices because of one having a bad pet store and 2 small town in the middle of no where is there anything she can eat like a pea or something instead? when feeding a pea do you cut it up or just drop it in?

You can't feed pea as a staple, Bettas are carnivorous (more specifically insectivorous) so they need "meat".

If your girl can't handle regular sized pellets I suggest ordering some New Life Spectrum Betta or Attinson's Betta or Betta Pro. These are excellent pellets (far better than any of the normal brands like topfin or hikari) and they are smaller in size. You can order them offline.
