I have no idea, sorry. I've only heard of ppl feeding ground beef to their bettas.
If you have the pellets, I would stick to that. Maybe you can get someone you know who's going out of town or coming for a visit stop at the Pet store for you?
Just an idea!

Raw and the leanest you can find from what I've read. But I wouldn't take my advice. I've never done it and don't know the problems it might bring.
Probably someone here will have another solution for you.
Good Luck!

well... since it's summer you could put a bucket with water in your backyard/porch/deck and let it sit for a few days. you should find mosquito larva in it. =] you can net the larva and put them in your tank I believe. =] I think that's what OldFishLady does. =]

You should PM her or take a look at her thread on the breeding section of the forum titled "Outside Spawn". =] It seems she's verry successful with it! =]

I know I'm gonna try! =] I think some live food will be just what Genie needs to finally heal up! =]

BTWyour fish is gorgeous! <3 I LOVE multicolors!

I wouldn't feed ground beef or anything that wasn't meant for bettas to eat.
