Meteor Shower!

For anyone who may be interested:
The Delta Aquarid meteor shower peaks tonight! Go outside and look to the south to see about 20 meteors per hour tonight. Just make sure not to look at the moon, as it can blind you from the show. It sucks. Learn from my mistakes lol.
(just looked at the meteor calendar for the heck of it and discovered there was one tonight!)

Also, the Perseid meteor shower will be peaking in the early EARLY morning hours of August 12th and 13th. This is supposed to be the biggest one of the year, with about 60 meteors per hour in-town. In the country I hear it can get even crazier than that.

I don't know about the rest of you but I'll be out watching these! :)

I sat out on my roof for a while and watched but didn't see any. The moon though is very bright. I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for the August ones though. :)

Yeah the moon is bad this time around. Last year they were amazing, but I'm not sure what to expect this year. I read the moon will be a crescent around the time of the perseids... if I'm not mistaken... so it should be a pretty good show.
