Talking cleaning the tank

i thought i had a 2.5 gallon tank, beacause it had been so long since i saw it. we are moving into a new house on Thursday,so we got all of our things out of storage.(air conditioned)well, as it turns out, my lil' bro's tank is a 2.5 gallon and mine is anywhere from 3.5-5 gallons!!!

well the problem is, it has been in storage for a few months. it is definitly dirty but it might have mold, ect.
what do i clean it with and how do i clean it?

thanks for any answers.

I would use a diluted bleach and warm water to clean your tanks and if they have filters I would run the filter on the tank with the diluted bleach for 10-15 min at least.
Rinse well and run fresh water through the filters
On the final fill use dechlorinator.

If they have calcium deposit on them-I like to use vinegar
Do not use bleach and vinegar at the same time-rinse well between use.
