Ummm eww help

Bob's 5 gallon tank is growing white fuzz. I recently did two 100% cleans but did not rinse the gravel just totally took out all the water and replaced it with fresh treated stuff. I woke this morning and there is a fuzzy white cloud along the rocks. Bob seems fine at the moment but how do I get rid of the white cotton like stuff and what is it?

It sounds like something is in the gravel that's growing some mold. I would either try sucking it up with a siphon, it might not work or get all of it out, or do another 100% water chance and rinse the gravel thoroughly with hot water.
Usually I find if food falls to the bottom within 24 hours mold starts growing on it. Usually when one of my boys spits out the last pellet I fed as I walk away. Sneaky boogers. :)

Never seen that before, but I wanted to post that I love the names of the corys - I have a daughter too and I went through a phase of all our fish being named dora and then every disney princess!

Thanks, seems as though I should stick to cory's. I lost another girl today, she had dropsy. I am so anal about water changes I don't get it.

I used to catch the goldfish out of my parents tank and put them in this plastic pea box I had. Haha, maybe move the tanks out of reach or a spare room you can put a lock on if at all possible. My younger brother went through a thieving phase so everything ended up with locks, pantry included. ;) Taught him a lesson.
