Low maintenance small tankmate?

I'm looking for some sort of shrimp or something that would go in a two gallon bowl. It has to be low maintenance and cheap. Suggestions?

A two gallon bowl is not large enough (bio-load wise) to put a companion with your betta. You'll need a larger tank.
