AquaBid Questions.

So I've heard people talk about buying off AquaBid. Can someone explain how it works? Is it like the ebay of fish?

Who's a good seller? Is there like a money back guarantee if my fish arrives dead or dies w/in a certain amount of time?

Like I mentioned in another post, either at the end of this month or the beginning of next month, I want to buy another betta. I'm going to upgrade Zombie's tank and put the new betta in Zombie's current 1.5g tank.

I'm thinking about using aquabid since you can find a variety of different tails and colors, as opposed to the local selection of betta's that are all veil tails and are mostly solid colors. I was thinking I want a halfmoon tail in either cambodian, marble, or piebald.

This is the guy I want. He looks smaller than he does in the video, in the video he looks huge, but he's so unique looking. I don't think I've ever seen a betta that looks like he does. I hope I can find one like him whenever I have the money to buy my new fishie.

Aquabid is good, but I've never bought from there, so I can't really answer your questions. But I would check this site out. She's an American breeder, so you would get your fish right away. And she sometimes has "budget bettas" that aren't always breed worthy, but are beautiful for pets. There is a HM in the HM section that looks similar to the one you posted above!

I just dealt with betta_afinity on aquabid. She was very nice to deal with. My fish came healthy and ready to settle in. She's in FL, so no transhipping involved. My particular fish was imported from Thailand by her already.

I really want that little(actually he's not little, he looks huge in the video) guy in the pictures. But he's in Thailand. He's only $20. I'm going to have to miss out on him because I absolutely can't afford to buy him, buy Zombie a new tank, heater, and cave. That's about $50 on top of paying for that betta plus his shipping.
