I have this new Betta that a friend gave me and i really like himThe issue is that he doesnt want to eat. When i first got him he was really happy. He seemed so happy that i went to PetSmart and got him a bush. He seemed happy when i showed it to him. He went to the back of the bowl and now he doesnt want to eat. I am so worried about him. He used to eat in the AM when i get to work and in the afternoon before i leave. Can you help Me?

What do you mean by a bush? Was there anything in the tank before you put the bush in there?

A few questions:

How long have you had him?

What do you mean by "bush"?

How big is his tank?

Do you have a heater?

What do you add to the water (water conditioner, anything else)?

These things will help us help you.

Yeah, judging by your user picture, that bowl looks way too small. ): I'd advise you get a bigger tank - 2 gallons, at least.

the bowl in that pic looks like it holds about a cup of water. That is way too small for him. and with his new "bush" he probably doesnt have any room to swim around.

I would take the "Bush" out and get him a bigger bowl, maybe a 2 gallon? How big is the fish?
