I just cleaned out Rileys tank and placed his cup in his new water waiting for 30 mins before I put him in well I just check on him and Somehow he had tipped over his cup and swam out the little hole on the top His fins seem to all be okay...But I've noticed they are kind of ragged at the ends...But since I've got him his tail has grown ALOT! Is this just his tail growing more? I always keep his water changes up so if he did tear them should I just keep doing water changes and he should be okay? Also another thing I was thinking about is Tail biteing...How can you tell if they are tail biters?? I've never really seen him go after his fins.

It's very rare to see tailbiting happen. You know he's biting if there are chunks missing out of the tail. Different bettas bite in different patterns--some like to nibble in between the rays, some like to take out big chunks all at once. Just keep the water super clean and he should be fine.
