Lmao, I'm glad! (: Enlightening the world about the welfare of bettas, one boyfriend at a time. :P
My boyfriend and I bought my betta together - we both thought the 1.5 gallon tank would be okay. Then I explained to him how terrible it was, after doing research, and on our date he drove me all the way to Petco and helped me buy new things for Epsilon, lol.

The only betta I have in a .5 is Gallifrey, but I'm getting him a 2.5 tomorrow. None of my other fish are in anything less than 2g, and I wouldn't ever consider keeping them in a permanent home of .5g. When I first started I had those kit things. Now I use them only for live food cultures.
