That's why it's a rant thread. We wouldn't be complaining about good things that happen to us.

My roommate/landlady wants me to pay a "laundry fee" of a dollar per load when I am already paying utilities. I refused, so she told me, word for word, to "find a new place to live, then." Goodbye roomie, goodbye friendship. I'm not dealing with this crap.

If you were using her detergent then I can understand but if you're already paying utilities then I think it's silly.

Thing is, we both paid for the detergent. I do a total of three loads once a week; clothes, jeans, and whites. She wants me to pay for washing them and then drying them. Not going to happen. I'm currently looking for a new place, and have a found a few possibilities which will save me up to $100 per month rent-wise.

Yiiiiiiiikes. That's not just rubbing salt into a wound, that's dumping a whole bucketful in there. That's outrageous! I don't think you have to spend $5000 for certain kinds of surgery on a horse!

that was the estimate from the 2rd vet that i visited .. the 1st vet didn't give me any estimates but told me the prognosis was going to be very bad and paralysis is most commonly from a spinal injury or trauma ..

which we still have no clue as to how she injured herself D= .. only thing i can think of is that she was jumping around trying to catch butterflies or bees and mis-landed .. the 2nd vet kept saying that he was sure she probably found a way out and was hit .. but that is 100% unlikely since we only let her out to the yard to do bathroom business .. then she comes right back in .. it's just so frustrating
