o_O lol.

oooo I got one. Customers from work get mad at me because I am not till trained (I'm fashions. NOT cashier. If I wanted to be cashier I'd rather somewhere else to work). And then they go and get mad at our best cashiers for 1. being a woman (ouch.) 2. not doing their job 3. not going through 700 dollars worth of groceries in 30 seconds flat.

My reply to anyone like that: "Here is an application. We would enjoy YOUR superman abilities to get the job done. Thank you and have a good day!"

I hate how a lot of customers treat cashiers like they are stupid just because they work in a shop. I don't think they appreciate how hard it is to juggle the demands of so many different people, some of which are impossible, whilst staying polite and efficient. It also really annoyed me that people would come into my shop who clearly had less of an education than I did and looked down on me because I worked in a shop. It clearly never occurred to them that maybe I was a student in one of the hardest degree courses offered in the country trying to support myself.

A good example of why shop people should never be underestimated - the lady who sold us our sofa had a science degree, but had to stop working as a scientist after a back injury meant she could no longer sit down for any length of time.

Sorry, that's a topic that makes me rant. :p

another rant: lazy roommates. I work night shifts. I walk home. I get home at about 11 pm, and the dishes are NEVER DONE. seriously. I am the only one who does dishes. And when he leaves dishes to harden.
I. will. not. clean. them. I'll clean what is not slimy (like his stupid rice pudding he makes - makes everything slimy!! yuck!), hardened like a rock, and I won't clean his rice cooker/waffle maker But I always come home to piles of dishes. From ONE person -.- It's annoying, disgusting, and BLECH! (bad for my OCD which at this moment just wants to boot his butt out in this -40 celsius weather)

OMG, I had a roommate like that. We took turns doing dishes and she would leave the dirty dishes thinking I would do them the next day when it was my turn. I don't think so!! I would push them aside and do whatever dishes I used for the day.

nice! He turned to me last night "can you clean this please?" holding his rice cooker pot. I said, "no." him: "oh..." Then he leaves it in the sink of water I just filled, and said "when it's clean tell me, k?" my reply:

"I don't think it'll clean itself."
He cleaned it I'm no push over.
