I remember reading the posting of worker's rights in the break room where I work. According to that posting (Which is for 2012) your employer cannot fire you for seeking help from a union or even forming a union of your own. You also have the right to peacefully picket and protest.

If your employer isn't allowing you your working rights, then you need to find somewhere where you can bring that up and have it addressed.

I'm not sure if you live in a right to work area or not though, but you should still have your rights.

the thing is, they'll find something to fire you on. Anything. to cover up "we hate unions" Walmart has worked their way around so many things including that, they know how to outdo everything :/ we are allowed rights and they "graciously accept you coming to them about stuff" but BULL -.- it's walmart. just that.

The walmart I worked at ran people out for tax purposes. I found that out because I was an acting lead when there was no one to run the GM recieving. They try to run people out because for each person the quits they get a huge tax cut. Any by the way. I made 400 every two weeks for running the entire recieving and inventory control procedures. I also put in the truck paperwork for them and pushed carts I also did carryouts and stocked, I unloaded grocery recieving trucks when grocery workers scattered when their trucks arrived. I made 6.00 when I started 7.10 an hour when I left just because minimun wage increased......

minimum wage here is like 9.30.... I'm at 9.85 because I got a raise with a perfect score for the annual thing.

well I applied to petsmart ....in spruce grove....rent is higher there sadly but it's a job isn't it? a better job too!
