I remember reading the posting of worker's rights in the break room where I work. According to that posting (Which is for 2012) your employer cannot fire you for seeking help from a union or even forming a union of your own. You also have the right to peacefully picket and protest.
If your employer isn't allowing you your working rights, then you need to find somewhere where you can bring that up and have it addressed.
I'm not sure if you live in a right to work area or not though, but you should still have your rights.
