My roommate is pretty inconsiderate sometimes. She had a whole bunch of people over last night, which is fine, but they used all our dishes and she told me she was going to do them before she left this afternoon. Of course she didn't....so I just got done doing all of them. She also left me to unplug all her stuff, which she was supposed to do to avoid fines over break.

Oh, and last night she also tried her hand at soap carving, but didn't pick up any of the shavings not even minding that I'm ALLERGIC to most soaps. It was really bad last night I had to stay in one of my friends room for a couple of hours. Didn't even bother taking out the trash that she discarded the larger pieces of soap in either.

-_-

I know how you feel! I had a roommate one time who was supposed to do dishes one day and she spent the night at a friend's. Apparently she thought that I'd do them the next day, when it was my turn. WRONG-O!!! I wasn't about to do dishes she was supposed to do. Any dishes I used the next day I washed but not the others. About 2-3 days went by before she did them.

Well she's a bit worse than that. In the 12 weeks we've been here she's done the dishes twice. I don't even use the dishes other than an occasional spoon or bowl. I tried to not do them thinking maybe she'd be nice and do them, but days went by and there becomes a point where you just can't do that for cleanliness reasons. The only valid reasons I see her doing the dishes are because all of them are already dirty and she wants to make food.

Yeah, I can understand doing them for cleanliness reasons. I'm not the neatest person in ther world but I don't usually leave dirty dishes in the sink. Maybe a mug I drank tea out of but at least it gets rinsed. lol

Yeah she doesn't rinse things out either. I've stressed to her that if she's not going to do the dishes at least clean out the bowls and rinse the dishes off, but nothing has come of it.

my boyfriend had roomates that wouldnt do dishes. we started only doing our dishes and leaving the rest. the dishes piled up in the sink for over a week, and when they completely ran out, they just grabbed a dirty one and looked at it, rubbed off the old ketchup and used it! EWWW.

Boys can be so dirty.
Let me rephrase that, 18-20 year old boys can be so dirty.
