Because chances are their lives are pathetic and they are petty enough to make others feel worse so that they can feel better.

I totally understand what you mean. Its one reason why I dont post threads anymore some people are so far into themselves they cant tell the sky from the ground. I suggest pm'ing breeders like OFL, indjo, sena and i currently.. oh mr vampire.... but other then those im not sure who else can help instead of criticize.

I'm sure that wasn't their intention, they mean well, its just sometimes they get so lost in their passion for the fish that they miss the fact that they might unintentionally sound a little condescending!

Blah. My kids and I just got back from dinner...we went to a chinese restaurant since DH is at a hockey game tonight, and I didn't want to cook and then have to clean up.

My 2 year old was SO MISBEHAVED that I was embarrassed. Totally wasn't listening to me, getting food all over the place, going under the table. It was crazy. I was getting so frustrated we had to finish up fast and leave.

This is completely typical behavior for a girl her age, but OMG. Sometimes it's just so hard to wrangle a 2 year old and an almost five year old (both girls) all day long and then all evening. Sometimes I just want to lock myself in the bathroom for a while. Let them sort things out while I have a moment of peace...or at least a moment when nobody's hanging on me.

Ok. Rant done, back in the saddle...(mommy mommy momma mommy....somebody's calling me)

I posted in that thread and no one was being at all condescending. Several of the people in that thread knew what they are talking about and delivered it in a manner that wasn't rude at all.

I don't know how providing someone with the proper information in a factual and informative tone is being pathetic and petty.

dont be discouraged because you are a starting a wonderful hobby and every beginning has its bumps lol
and dont forget to pm some of the people i mentioned
