I am aiming to get him a friend after tax refund comes and I get him a larger cage with lots of levels and toys. Sigh*I couldn't leave him behind and risk him being devoured by a snake. Fancy rat just means domestic rat. :) You can get different morphs, like manx, double-rex, dumbo etc, but they are all the same species.
I love watching rats interacting with each other. :) Funniest times. I'm excited for you! :D I'm sure they are both going to have a lovely home with you.

Lol, someone in my cage just stood on someone else and I heard a very outraged squeak.

Very trivial rant: as soon as I put my rat washing on the line, it started raining.

What is rain? It's so dry here. I've been watering our garden every couple of days with my fish tank water and the ground that hasn't been mulched is still like dust.

Why is it at 5:30am every morning without fail my cat comes in and starts meowing and running around my room? It's like he has an inbuilt alarm clock.

So now here it is just turning 6:00am and I have to get up and go feed the monster before he sprays somewhere in my bedroom.

\thanks for explaining it. i never fully understood all that. i have little jack cuddled in my hand right now he is adjusting okay so far. got some toys for him yesterday too

rant-im getting to anxious for college to be over. five more weeks.
