My sister in law's birthday is coming up, so I bought some yarn to make her a scarf. Problem is, I cannot for the life of me find my crochet hooks. I've got no idea where they are and I'm about to get very upset.

Never mind. I found them. But the hook case snapped when I opened it :'( It was just an old watch case, but it worked so well. Now I need a new one.

People in my area are so rude sometimes.

I live in the "snooty" part of Sydney & honestly i can see why other places think of it that way.
Some people cant even crack a smile as i serve them & ask about their day.
They stand there basically looking down at me while they have their tiny dogs in diamond studded collars holding their over priced gucci handbags.
Ugh!! Honestly i am not working in a pet store to act as a mindless slave, i don't expect to be treated like one!

Ezzie, I had the same problem when I worked at IGA. "Hi, how are you today?" "..."
Then they'd stand there watching me as I scanned and bagged $200 worth of shopping. No conveyor belts here, the bags are right there for the customers to help out. Wouldn't move filled bags out of the way. They'd just stare at me as I tried to find a place to put thirty bags on the end of my tiny till. And then they'd say "Can you hurry up a bit? I'm in a rush."
It wasn't even a fancy area. It was a hole.
That's why I'm always nice to my checkout people. Because it's not as easy as people think. I say "Hi, how are you?" and I thank them before I leave.

I bought NLS pellets because after looking through varouis threads and looking at it's ingredients I figured it would be a good choice. My rescue boy LOVE LOVE LOVES them. :) But Ezio doesn't eat them..At first he went up and tried but he'd spit them out..Now he doesn't even attempt to. -__- So he's been getting frozen brine shrimp and frozen bloodworms for the past week....I don't know what to do..-__- So my rant is finicky eaters. They suck.

Stop feeding the fish for a few days and try again. If still no, fast the fish for a few more days and try again. Fish can go a really long time without food - several months - so don't worry about that. If that doesn't work I can help you from there to get the fish converted. I've converted African butterflies, bichirs, black ghost knife - betta won't be hard.

Try soaking them for a few minutes in tank water with a little piece of garlic thrown in there. That might help. I've only had one picky eater among all of the bettas and he nommed them right up after soaking.

My rant for this weekend: Buy 4, get 2 free sale on fish. Must not buy 6 more female bettas... even though they are all .99 and crowntails 2.99.
Why must I have no money at the moment!?
