Yeah I agree. I was so mad when someone drug up a thread from almost six days before mine was posted when I thought Akira had the beginning of an illness. Luckily he didn't but I'm worried that if one of them gets sick for real someone is going to do that AGAIN! It gets really irritating when someone posts in an old thread when there's more important threads to take account.
And that's why the rule is there in the first place. Rules aren't make without reason :P When I'm older, and hopefully a successful author, and I have a forum, I'm going to start off with a few basic, common-sense rules, and then add on when I see a problem with something.
Well, even a month or two old isn't too bad but if it's older than that then it's a pain. I don't know why someone would go back a few billion pages and post on a thread that is 2 years old. Check dates, people! lol
Seriously this is getting to be a big pet peeve of mine. I wish we could have a new member notification that everyone gets when they join with the rules.. number 1 should be... "don't drag up old threads or 1fish2fish will get you and steal all your fish.. You've been warned."
Relax, I didn't even drag it up, someone else did and I responded, which I thought happend in forums.
