I don't expect it to be too bad, all the people I've talked to who've had hip replacements say they felt almost instant pain relief once they woke up. I'm actually quite excited about it! :P
Unfortunately, I got the e-mail back. :( They said no, because of "infection-control", which I COULD understand maybe, if I didn't know of several hospitals that have fish tanks. When I mentioned it to my physiotherapist, she even said she was pretty sure there was at least one fish tank at this rehab place. Oh well, I guess its time for livestreaming, and pictures.
Unfortunately, yeah, thats a concern :C Live streaming sounds like a good idea! Maybe pick up a few books to read while relaxing and healing...
Or, if you have internet access, do what I do-
When something about, say, fish, confuses me, I research it. Not just a little, but a lot! I write down notes, small ones, and take in the info that I can. Even if I grasp it just slightly more than before, I feel SO GOOD to have learned!
Maybe its just me being a dork, or its the teacher in me, but it really does feel good. Researching casually for pleasure is good for your brain and good for the soul, you learn and feel empowered!
That's how I learned so much about disease and especially plants- Goodness, every chance I get, I try and research them. On the way, I see such great tanks that people have, I learn to care for them, and then I learn how to help other people who need help when learning, too.
Thats why I write so many guides, LOLOL! XD
Also, and this'll sound so.stupid. but...
ALL OF THE TIME
